Sharvari Jamenis
Sharvari is a name that reflects great promise. She began receiving in Kathak, at Nrityabharati Kathak Academy in Pune, in 1984 under the special tutelage of Guru Pandita Rohini Bhate.

Sharvari has received ‘Sringar Mani’ title by Sur Sringar Sansad, Mumbai and Ustad Bhismilla Khan Yuva Puraskar (2008) by Sangeet Natak Akademi for her contribution to the field of Kathak.

Sharvari has also been recognized as a talented actor in the world of Marathi Cinema. She as received the Filmfare-Best Actress award and Videocon Screen-Best Actress award for her lead role in ‘Bindhaast’ – a Marathi feature film.
