Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Pratisthan organizes a two-day festival every year titled – VASANT UTSAV, in Pune, in the memory of Late Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande by inviting respected artists to perform at this event. In the past, artists such as Pt. Kumar Gandharva, Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Jeetendra Abhisheki, Dr. Veena Sahasrabuddhe, Malini Rajurkar, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Vijay Ghate, Mukul Shivputra and Rakesh Chaurasia have performed at the festival.
